What we collect
Information you give us: your name, work email, company, phone number and whatever you write in an enquiry, application or newsletter form.
Information collected automatically: pages viewed, referring source and approximate location derived from your IP address — and only if you have allowed analytics cookies.
Why we use it
To answer your enquiry and produce a scope or quote. To administer a job application. To send the newsletter you asked for. To understand which pages are useful, in aggregate.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Legal basis
We rely on your consent for the newsletter and for analytics cookies, on legitimate interest for responding to business enquiries, and on the steps necessary to enter a contract where you are engaging us.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for two years after last contact. Job applications are kept for twelve months unless you ask us to remove them sooner. Newsletter records are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to processing, or withdraw consent. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are in the UK or EU and are unhappy with our response, you may complain to your local supervisory authority.
Who processes data for us
We use third-party providers for website hosting, email, analytics and scheduling. Each is bound by a data-processing agreement and processes data only on our instructions.
AI-generated imagery
Illustrative images on this site — page heroes, article thumbnails and scene photography — are AI-generated. They depict generic scenes, not our staff, offices or clients.
Photographs of our founder and any content attributed to a named person are genuine. We never use AI to fabricate people, testimonials, results or credentials.
AI chat assistant
The chat assistant on this site is an open-source AI model. What you type is sent to OpenRouter, an AI gateway, which routes it to a hosting provider such as Groq or DeepInfra so the model can reply. We use their paid tier; even so, please keep confidential information out of the chat.
The conversation is held in your browser only and is discarded when you close the tab. Nothing is sent to us until you choose to send your details — at that point your name, email, company and the conversation are emailed to our team, and a short confirmation is emailed to you. That copy to you deliberately contains none of the conversation. Enquiries are then kept on the same two-year footing as any other.
You never have to use the assistant. Every page works without it, and the contact form and booking link do the same job.
